Welcome! My name is Holly Kelly. I am the founder, curator, and editor of Clean Paranormal. I am also an avid reader, writer, author, Christian, mother, and teacher. I studied English Education at Utah Valley University, where I earned my bachelor's degree. I later received my Master's Degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.

I have always loved reading and writing and have a particular passion for fantasy, paranormal, and science fiction books, especially those with romantic subplots. Finding clean books—free of explicit sex, harsh language, and graphic violence—in these genres has always been a challenge I've embraced wholeheartedly. Recommending books to my own children and students has also given me a sense of purpose.

 

Since I already had a growing list of book recommendations and was always searching for new ones, I decided to build an online bookstore with the mission of bringing clean books to both teen and adult readers. I felt this was a meaningful way to use my talents and knowledge.

 

Partnering with Amazon as an affiliate, the site went live in 2016. Over the years, it has grown, and I’ve enlisted family members to help with this endeavor. Today, the store looks very different from when it started, but our commitment to finding quality, clean books for readers remains unchanged.
